Every year, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce hosts its signature Pinnacle Awards Ceremony to uplift and celebrate exceptional businesses and individuals in the Greater Concord area. This awards ceremony features four major awards. This year’s recipients were selected as:
- Small Business of the Year – 603 Bar-B-Q
- Nonprofit Business of the Year – McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center
- Business of the Year – Breezeline
- Business Leader of the Year – Sue McCoo, Capitol Craftsman & Romance Jewelers/Viking House/Hilltop Consignment Gallery
Additionally, the Pinnacle Awards Ceremony also includes recognition of W. Grant McIntosh Volunteer of the Year, Rose Mirante of the Merrimack County Department of Corrections, and the CYPN Young Professional of the Year, Sarah Glaude of Social Club Creamery.
Each year, a selection committee made up of the previous year’s recipients meet to review nominations and make award selections. This year’s recipients were chosen due to their demonstrated commitment to the greater Concord community and extracurricular service.
Pinnacle Award recipients have received their awards with moving expressions of gratitude, standing ovations from the audience, tears of joy, and hugs all around. The celebration attracts around 200 attendees from across the capital region’s business community each year.
This year’s ceremony will be held at the Grappone Conference Center on Wednesday, June 3rd from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, generously sponsored by BusinessNH Magazine and Eastern Bank with support from Speedy Printing & Copying.
