36 teams competed in the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce’s 37th Annual Funds for Education Golf Tournament this month at Beaver Meadow Golf Course. Unexpectedly, five teams tied for first place based on strokes, finishing 13 under par with scores of 59. The winners were selected by a card off, which measured their performances on the most difficult holes. The winning foursome was officially named as Tim Sheedy (Phenix Title Services), Jon Jones (Franklin Savings Bank), Scott MacFarland (Harbor Ridge), and Tim Burns (Harbor Ridge).
