Five teams tie for the top spot in 38th annual Concord Chamber Funds for Education Golf Tournament

36 teams competed in the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce’s 37th Annual Funds for Education Golf Tournament this month at Beaver Meadow Golf Course. Unexpectedly, five teams tied for first place based on strokes, finishing 13 under par with scores of 59. The winners were selected by a card off, which measured their performances on the most difficult holes. The winning foursome was officially named as Tim Sheedy (Phenix Title Services), Jon Jones (Franklin Savings Bank), Scott MacFarland (Harbor Ridge), and Tim Burns (Harbor Ridge).

First Place: Tim Sheedy, Jon Jones, Scott MacFarland, Tim Burns

Second Place: Bill Hickey, Will Fogarty, Brian Gehris, Peter Hoekstra

Third Place: Josh Robinson, Steve Robinson, Dennis Poirier, Mike Woodbury

Fourth/Fifth Place: Chris Brown, Kerri Brown, Mark Savoy, Lori Savoy; Corbett Cole, Alex Gamache, Sean Menard, Brian McDermott

Putting Contest: Jeff Moynihan, ACRES

Longest Drive (men): Dave Bronson, ACRES

Longest Drive (women): Nicole Howard, Machias Savings Bank

Straightest Drive: Jonathan Loya, ACRES

Closest to the Trap: Scott O’Brien, Rosenthall Realty Group team
