The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Timothy G. Sink, outgoing chamber President, as its 2025 Citizen of the Year. The Chamber will present this distinguished award at its 106th Annual Meeting and Citizen of the Year event on Wednesday, November 5 at the Grappone Conference Center.
An independent selection committee of local business leaders nominated Sink for his dedicated service during his 33 years as president. “Tim has been one of the most prominent figures spearheading progress in greater Concord for decades,” proclaimed committee chair Ari Pollack, Esq. of Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell. “The selection committee felt strongly that his exemplary leadership, advocacy efforts, and commitment to our region more than qualify him to receive this year’s distinction. Simply put, the decision of the committee was obvious to each of us and unanimous.”
Starting his career in education as a music teacher, Tim’s passion for people and community led him to business and civic leadership. Through his guidance, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce has become one of the largest chambers in New England, and the largest in the state by number of members. He oversaw the creation and sustained success of numerous programs including Leadership Greater Concord (LGC), Capital Area Student Leadership (CASL), the Concord Young Professional Network (CYPN), and Creative Concord, among others. Sink has also overseen numerous advocacy initiatives in the capital region and prioritized Chamber support for projects including the redevelopment of Horseshoe Pond and creation of the Grappone Conference Center, the award-winning Main Street renovation downtown, and programs that promote greater Concord as a vibrant cultural and tourist destination.
Sink has been the recipient of several awards and honors throughout his tenure, including being named as one of New Hampshire’s Leaders of the 21st Century by Business NH Magazine, receiving the Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire’s Lifetime Achievement award, and receiving a Governor’s Commendation from Kelly Ayotte at the chamber’s 2025 State of the State forum. “His leadership has not only elevated the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, but has also strengthened the broader New Hampshire business community—fostering collaboration, innovation, and a spirit of entrepreneurship across the state,” she remarked.
The Chamber is honored to celebrate Tim Sink as its 2025 Citizen of the Year to highlight his extraordinary contributions to the state, Capital Region, and city of Concord. This prestigious award will be given at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting—which will take place on Wednesday, November 5 at Concord’s Grappone Conference Center. Presented by Merrimack County Savings Bank, the celebration begins at 5 PM with a cocktail reception, followed by a plated dinner, and culminates in the Citizen of the Year award ceremony. All are welcome to attend; registration is available online or by calling (603) 224-2508.
