All CRTC Students:
- Apply and are accepted into their chosen career pathway program.
- Receive required safety training for their industry.
- Learn technical skills specific to the industry.
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment, tools, and technology in our lab spaces.
- Practice professional skills: Communication, Collaboration, Innovation, Self-Direction
- Are taught by industry experts.
- Are working towards or have obtained industry recognized credentials.
How can businesses engage?
- Be a guest presenter in a CRTC class—CRTC students are hands on learners. Bring your tools, do a demonstration, teach a lesson!
- Join a Program Advisory Committee (meets twice per year).
- Host a tour at your business.
- Provide a job shadow opportunity for students.
- Host a student for an extended internship.
- Hire a qualified student.
How we work together
- CRTC teachers and staff will have direct and consistent communication with our business partners.
- Periodic feedback will be requested from businesses to ensure partnership continues to be the right fit.
- CRTC representatives will support the administrative process of becoming an approved business.
- Unpaid student interns are covered under the school district’s liability insurance.

Orthopedic Technology Program
The Orthopedic Technology Career Pathways program is presented by Concord Orthopaedics and NHTI-Concord’s Community College. Each year, the Chamber facilitates the kick-off event, which allows students to meet and ask questions to experienced healthcare professionals.
Apprenticeship NH
This program offers workforce development solutions for businesses and career opportunities for students. Offered by the Community College System of NH and funded by the US Department of Labor, the program works with a number of industry sectors including Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive Technology, Business and Finance, Construction, Healthcare, and Hospitality. You’re invited to learn more about how high school apprenticeships can benefit your business.
