A Letter from our President

As we step into a new year, I find myself reflecting on the strength and shared purpose that defined our 2025 in greater Concord. Each January offers a natural moment to pause, take stock of where we’ve been, and look ahead to the opportunities and challenges that await. It’s a time for fresh ideas, renewed energy, and thoughtful collaboration. As your Chamber President, I’m ready to enter this year with optimism and gratitude, committed to serving our members and the broader Capital Region.

In their simplest essence, chambers are conveners. We bring people together who might not otherwise share a room: business owners, nonprofit leaders, educators, students, policymakers, and residents who care deeply about our region’s future. In the year ahead, we will continue to lean into this role as a convener. Whether it’s through committee work, advocacy efforts, forums on key issues, or casual conversations at Business After Hours, our goal is to create spaces where ideas can be exchanged, partnerships can be formed, and our community can find strength. When you walk into a Chamber program, you’re stepping into a shared effort to make Greater Concord stronger, more vibrant, and more resilient.

Another essential part of our vision for the new year is amplifying the collective voice of our members. Individually, each business or entrepreneur has important perspectives and needs; by collaborating, we allow this voice to carry further. The Chamber’s advocacy work at the local and state levels is driven by what we hear from you: the gaps you’re navigating, the hurdles you face, and the opportunities you see on the horizon. In 2026, we will continue to listen closely and speak clearly on your behalf, ensuring that the priorities of Greater Concord’s business community are understood by decision‑makers across the city, region, and state.

We also recognize that the new year brings both social and economic challenges. From housing and childcare constraints, to inflation and shifting consumer behaviors, to the ongoing need for equitable access to opportunity, no single organization can address these issues alone. But together, we can make meaningful progress. We at the Chamber will stay focused on fostering cross-sector collaboration, sharing data and best practices, and highlighting the innovative approaches that are working right here in our region. When our community faces headwinds, we’ll remain committed to our shared responsibility.

A particularly important part of this shared responsibility is supporting our future workforce. The Chamber remains invested in youth engagement and leadership development initiatives across the Capital Region. These programs introduce students to local employers, connect classrooms with careers, and generate youth interest in civic leadership, which drives momentum for New Hampshire’s long-term economic health. By helping young professionals see a future for themselves in our state, we’re strengthening the talent pipeline and workforce pool that supports every industry represented across our membership.

I’d like to thank each and every one of our members for your continued partnership with the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce. Your engagement—whether you attend an event, serve on a committee, or simply pick up the phone to share your perspective—shapes our work and fuels our impact. I look forward to the year ahead and to all we will accomplish in 2026 together.

With gratitude,

Bryanna Marceau
