"The Chamber staff members are uniformly enthusiastic about their work, and have an obvious dedication to stimulating the area economy by educating and connecting its members."

Funds for Education

Each year, A committee of dedicated volunteers selects community-based educational programming that would benefit from additional financing. Through our Funds for Education program, the Chamber has awarded over $170,000 to locally-based education initiatives. Selected programs typically support practical skill-building and connect students to business leaders in the community, where they can learn about different industries and career opportunities.

Importance Leadership

Importance Leadership will use its grant to establish a new micro-library and host quarterly communication-skills workshops for young adults ages 18 to 30. Through literature and facilitated dialogue, the initiative aims to empower participants to become community changemakers through education and advocacy.

NH Telephone Museum

The NH Telephone Museum received support for its Traveling Trunks initiative, which delivers hands-on exhibits directly to classrooms statewide. Students can dial rotary phones, explore candlestick sets, and experiment with sound waves. This program provides an interactive way to connect history and STEAM education to schools with limited access to field trips.

Project S.T.O.R.Y.

Through a curated selection of books, Project S.T.O.R.Y.’s Youth Reading Program creates discussion circles that build empathy, critical thinking, and civic engagement. Its mission is to help youth engage with books, connect with their heritage, and develop into civic leaders.

Susan Reidl

Susan, a licensed art therapist, educator, and owner of Capital Art Therapy, was awarded funding for her Art for Mental Wellness workshops. Designed for children ages 7 to 11, this program uses creative projects to build emotional awareness, self-expression, and confidence.

Thrive Support Center

Thrive Support Center received support for its Advocacy & Outreach Program. Thrive’s team travels to middle and high schools throughout Greater Concord, delivering age-appropriate, interactive lessons on boundaries, consent, healthy relationships, and related topics—empowering students with vital life skills.
