Sink to Step Down as Greater Concord Chamber President

After nearly 33 years as President and CEO of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, Tim Sink has announced that he plans to step down at the end of the current fiscal year on September 30, 2025.

“I have had the privilege of serving this dynamic chamber through some challenging and exciting times. It has been an incredible and fulfilling opportunity and I am beyond grateful for the hundreds of talented and generous volunteers and staff that have helped build this organization into what it is today,” said Sink.

Under Sink’s leadership, the Chamber’s membership has doubled, making it among the largest chambers in New England. During his tenure, the Chamber has launched and sustained a number of successful programs including Leadership Greater Concord (LGC), Capital Area Student Leadership (CASL), the Concord Young Professional Network (CYPN), Creative Concord, and more.

Sink convened area leaders and the Chamber’s resources to impact a number of significant community initiatives, including the redevelopment of Horseshoe Pond, the award-winning Main Street renovation in downtown Concord, the advancement of public art initiatives, as well as programs to promote the Capital Region as a visitor destination.

According to current Chamber board Chair Larry Haynes, President of Grappone Automotive Group “Tim has made an incredible contribution to the Chamber and to the Capital Region over the last 33 years. We are grateful for all that he has done in promoting and creating opportunities for our local businesses and for his leadership of our dedicated Chamber team. We want to thank Tim for his dedication and many accomplishments on behalf of our business community.”

A committee will be appointed by Haynes to begin the process of identifying Sink’s replacement in the fall. The Chamber’s board and staff are deeply grateful for Tim Sink’s leadership and dedication, which have positioned the organization for continued success in the years ahead.
